Several of those friends told her over and over that she should write a book. She said that God gave her the name she should use. She knew as soon as it popped in her head that the book was going to be about her having life after the death of our son. She wanted people to see that God was going to lead her through this life altering tragedy and that He was going to use her to help other people see that they could have life after a death also. Several years went by after that and she sat on that information and never mentioned it to me.<\/p><p>During those years, we both felt as if there was something else we were supposed to be doing to help other parents that have lost a child. We were and are involved with the GriefShare group that our church sponsors and a few sets of parents have come through there, but we were still feeling like there was something else. We were not sure what.<\/p><p>Years later, being the nerdy type, I was watching a YouTube video on how to do something and at the end of it the thought came through my head that we could do videos. As soon as that thought popped in my head the name \u201cLife After Death\u201d popped in my head as the name of the channel. I went home all excited to tell my wife about the idea so we could pray about if this might be the \u2018what\u2019 we were supposed to do. We were in the car, headed to my sister\u2019s and I told her about the direction I felt God was pointing me and that I had the name for the channel. As soon as I told her \u201cLife After Death\u201d she took a big breath and said that God had given her that name for a book several years ago.<\/p><p>We both were pretty sure at that point that this was the direction we were supposed to go. My wife is now drafting our full story. We do not know what that will lead to or what if anything God will ultimately do with it. The lead pastor at our church used to say on a regular basis, \u201cFail on the side of obedience,\u201d so that is what we are doing. We will take this whatever direction we think God is directing or until He closes the door completely.<\/p><p>When I checked website registration lifeafterdeath.com, .net, .org were all taken. I did not even know at that point that \u2018.life\u2019 was even available and then there it was staring me in the face, and it seemed perfect for what we were doing. So, the name came from what my wife calls \u201ca God thing.\u201d Two people never having discussed it before, and God gave them both the same name. We do not believe in coincidence, we only believe in divine circumstances, whether good or bad\u2026and we pray that we will use what God has given us for the good of others.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why the name Life After Death came about because in the early years after my son\u2019s death, my wife was bearing her soul to her friends on Facebook.
